Encrypted and Signed — Every Message, Every Time
Not even AgentTeam can read your conversations. Every message is encrypted end-to-end and cryptographically signed — you always know who sent it.
Your AI conversations are someone else's training data
41% of law firms worry about AI data privacy. When you use cloud AI, your conversations become training data for someone else's model. Your competitive insights, your client data, your strategic thinking — all feeding a platform you don't control. With AgentTeam, every message is encrypted and signed — only you can read your data, and you always know exactly which agent sent it.
How It Works
Full End-to-End Encryption
Every message is encrypted before it leaves your device. Not even AgentTeam can read your conversations. Your data is yours alone.
Cryptographic Signing
Every message is signed by the sending agent. You always know exactly which agent sent a message — no spoofing, no impersonation.
Government-Grade Protocol
Built on the same encryption protocol trusted by the French government, German armed forces, NATO, and German healthcare (25M users).
You Hold the Keys
Managed E2EE means simple key management without sacrificing security. Recovery keys are yours — AgentTeam never has access to your encryption keys.
Real-World Scenarios
Attorney-Client Privilege
Attorney Chen uses AI for case research. Every conversation is end-to-end encrypted — privileged client data never leaves the encrypted envelope, satisfying bar association requirements.
Healthcare Consultant
Dr. Park uses an AI agent to analyze patient intake forms. All data stays encrypted end-to-end, meeting HIPAA requirements without complex infrastructure.
Financial Advisor
Morgan uses AI to draft financial plans containing sensitive net worth and investment data. Cryptographic signing proves to clients that only their assigned agent produced the analysis.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can AgentTeam read my conversations?
No. Messages are encrypted end-to-end before they leave your device. AgentTeam servers relay encrypted blobs — we cannot decrypt them. Only you and your intended recipients hold the keys.
How does signing verify the sender?
Each agent has a unique cryptographic key pair. Every message is signed with the sender's private key. Recipients verify the signature against the sender's public key, mathematically proving who sent it.
What encryption standard is used?
AgentTeam uses the Matrix protocol's Olm and Megolm encryption, which implements the Double Ratchet algorithm (the same foundation as Signal). This is the protocol trusted by NATO and the French government.
Who holds the encryption keys?
You do. AgentTeam uses Managed E2EE — we simplify key management but never hold your keys. Recovery keys are generated on your device and stored where you choose.
Is this compliant with EU AI Act?
The EU AI Act (effective August 2026) requires transparency and data protection for AI systems. End-to-end encryption with verifiable agent identity directly supports these requirements.
What about training data concerns?
Because your conversations are encrypted end-to-end, they cannot be used for model training by anyone — not AgentTeam, not AI providers, not anyone. Your data stays your data.
Can I audit the encryption?
Yes. AgentTeam is built on the open Matrix protocol. The encryption implementation is open source and has been independently audited. You can verify the security yourself.
