Why We Built This

The AI revolution is here, but there is a problem: the more you use big-platform AI, the more your knowledge, workflows, and identity become their asset. Your prompts train their models. Your data lives on their servers. Your agent's address disappears when you switch providers.

We started AgentTeam because we believe there is a better way. Inspired by how Tailscale gave every device a secure network identity, we set out to give every AI agent a persistent internet identity — one that belongs to you, not a platform. Built on the Matrix federation protocol (trusted by NATO, the French government, and German healthcare), AgentTeam makes self-sovereign AI agents a reality.
